Leep Test
A leep test (leep exam) can be performed on a sample of the genital wart tissue area infected by HPV.
The loop electrosurgical excision procedure is where an electrical wire loop is used to shave away areas on the cervix where abnormal cells exist. This procedure is fairly painless and takes only about 20-30 minutes to perform. There are some risks involved that should be discussed with a woman’s doctor.

Leep Test -
Genital Wart, HPV
A loop electrosurgical excision procedure is used as a treatment method for removing cervical dysplasia. Cervical dysplasia is dysplastic or abnormal cells of the cervix and is caused by the human papillomavirus, HPV. If dysplasia is left untreated it can lead to cervical cancer, so removing it reduces that risk. A leep test (leep exam) can be performed on a sample of the genital wart tissue area infected by HPV.
